Bring the Joy
“Nobody ever sits in the living room!”
The Problem
Peg no longer found joy in her living space. She said, “Nobody ever sits in the living room!” She wanted this room to be more inviting. Visually, this room was overpowered with rectangles, a little cluttered, and a coffee table that was much too large.
The Solution
We rearranged the furniture, so that the couch was not blocking the front picture window and the chair is facing the couch. The rectangle carpet was exchanged with a circular one and the coffee table with a smaller, wavy edged one. We removed both horizontal bookshelves and reorganized the books in a vertical bookshelf positioned in an unused spot next to the staircase. We now see the colors blue, black, and green that boost energy in the knowledge area of her home.
